When Defendrix launches on a machine, it contacts the license server and asks what tier your key is on. Controls included in that tier remain available and preserve their saved choices; controls above the tier appear locked in the Protections tab. A plan or entitlement change does not silently switch a protection control on.

Yearly costs less than paying monthly for twelve months — up to 33% less depending on the tier. Both are auto-renewing subscriptions. Manage cancellation through your payment provider when available, or contact support. Your license stays valid through the paid period.

For an eligible customer-managed, non-admin device, open the key in your dashboard and choose Release seat. After a fresh password check, the current activation is removed and the seat returns to that license's pool. Protected Owner or administrator seats cannot be released from the dashboard. Permanent self-deletion inside Defendrix is a separate irreversible action that blocks the deleted license and hardware binding from being reclaimed.

It does. Run deploy.exe once on your reference PC and it installs Defendrix, pre-loads protected provisioning, and arms unattended activation. After Sysprep and cloning, each eligible PC claims one available seat on first boot without requiring someone to type a key on that machine.
