Free forever.
Pro when you need it.
No trial that expires, no "community edition" missing the debugger. The free tier is the whole editor. Pro exists because collaboration servers and remote workspaces cost real money to run — that's the part you pay for.
Free
- The complete editor — no artificial limits
- 40+ languages with smart completion
- Integrated terminal + built-in Git
- Debugger + project-wide refactors
- Plugin system + community themes
- Unlimited private projects
Pro
- Everything in Free
- Live workspace share — real-time pair work on actual code
- Remote workspaces over SSH
- Deep profiler + memory tooling
- Settings + keymap sync across devices
- Priority support from the people who wrote it
The two things everyone asks.
Is the free tier actually free, or free-for-now?
Actually free. The editor — languages, terminal, Git, debugger, plugins — stays free permanently. We charge for the parts that cost us money to operate (collaboration relay, remote workspace infrastructure), which is why they're the Pro tier. We'd rather have a million people using the free editor than a paywall nobody crosses.
What does Q.U.A.N.T.U.M stand for?
Quantum Unified Applications, Networks & Technology Utility Matrix. A single native studio that unifies the tools a serious developer needs — editor, terminal, Git, debugger, remote workspaces, live-share — with the surrounding networks and utilities that make them useful. That's the ambition and it's what the name commits us to.
One studio, three tools.
Quantum writes it, AxiomCAD designs it, Defendrix protects it. Team plans across all three bill under one company account — same dashboard, same invoice.
